Cheek Wardrobing: 3 Steps to Give Your Face a Soft, Fresh and Slightly Sculpted Glow

Posted by Sonia Welch on Thursday, February 23, 2017 Under: Makeup Tutorials

Ever wonder how some women achieve a flawless, soft glow on their cheeks? The kind of highlight that seems to light up their entire face in a really great way?  You can easily achieve that flawless glow too! Read on... Here are 3 steps to give your face a soft, fresh and slightly sculpted glow.

See below for my personal cheek wardrobe favorites.

1.
Bronzer

First, gently apply a soft layer of bronzer with a small powder brush in a motion that sweeps upwards towards the top of your cheekbone. The bronzer shade chosen for you should be in a tone that flatters your overall complexion. Continue to softly drape your forehead, jawline and d├ęcolletage with the same shade of bronzer. By using a bronzing powder in your first step, you begin to build your glow in a gradual and multidimensional way.

2.      Blush

Lightly drape a slight pop color of blush from the apples of your cheeks, up into your hairline. When you apply your blush in an upwards motion, it will blend the color and create a gentle lift at the same time. Your blush color should compliment the tone of your lips and contrast with your bronzer shade. Applying your blush on top of your bronzer will strengthen your soft glow and you'll see a fresh hint of color brightening your whole face.

3.      Highlighting Powder

Apply your customized highlighting powder on the very tops of your cheekbones and up into your orbital bone to complete your soft, fresh and slightly sculpted glow.
